Rod has been in insurance for over 30 years working his way up from Adjuster, Claims Manager, National Fraud Manager and to his current position of owner/president, of RC Cook Insurance. He has a BS from Ohio State University and has 23 yrs experience on the claims side of the business, and 16 years in sales/agency. Rod has been the promise that we sell as such he is infinitely qualified to be a voice for our customers. He re-joined our team when his mother passed and he inherited the company.

Patti Hicks lives in Ravenna Ohio. She has been married to her husband Duane for 30 years and is the mother of 2 children; Michael, graduated the University of Memphis and is living in Ravenna, OH and is employed at the Walmart. Brittni graduated Hofstra University in Long island New York and is employed at In Style Magazine. She joined our team over 19 years and specializes in our Personal Lines, she attended Kent University and Tri-C College. Patti and Duane are now spending their free time visiting their children and cruising the oceans.

Clair Riling is our Outside Sales Agent. She used to work at the front desk and was face to face with helping our customer’s needs. She has her Bachelors in Business Management and previously worked for McDonald’s Corporation, where she successfully Implemented training programs, revamped stores, and created profitable growth for more than fifty stores in Northeast Ohio. Now she is our lead person in South Carolina as well as one of our phone support persons.

Ron’s previous occupation was in Law Enforcement for approximately eleven years. He worked on the Road Patrol Division and was promoted to Detective and supervising Sergeant. His background with handling 100’s of motor vehicle crashes helps greatly with the accident and insurance claim reporting process.
Ron joined our team in October of 2020 after passing his State Licensing Exam on October 19th, 2020. His personal insurance office is in Willowick, Ohio. However, he does work out of the Ravenna office as needed and is available to assist any of the Cook Insurance Group customers, regardless of where in Ohio you may reside.
